A Creative Mind. A Practical Pair of Hands.

Home & Garden Help for Women 60+ (and Men, Too)

I'm a Polish-born artist who likes working with her hands. Painting, planting, digging, decorating, hanging pictures, assembling furniture — anything that produces a visible result. Preferably a good one.

I'm reliable, responsible, punctual, and unfortunately a perfectionist. If we agree on nine o'clock, I'll be there at 8:55. The German years left their mark.

I'm not particularly interested in small talk, but I love listening to a good story. Especially from people who've had enough years to make some interesting mistakes.

I speak Polish, German, and English, and I'm learning French. So we can discuss your furniture in three languages and misunderstand each other in a fourth.

I like old houses, peculiar gardens, interesting objects, and jobs that other people keep postponing.

I'm not a contractor. Just a woman with a toolbox, an artistic eye, and a slightly unhealthy relationship with crooked pictures.

What Can I Help With?

Around the House

Hanging pictures, assembling small furniture, organizing, decorating, and tackling little household jobs.

In the Garden

Planting, weeding, light pruning, flower beds, and pots.

Something else? Just ask. As long as it doesn't involve rewiring your house.

A Creative Touch

Arranging artwork, refreshing rooms, making awkward spaces more interesting, helping organize small parties, and even a little occasional cooking. Sometimes an extra pair of hands is all you need.

Put Me to Work

Handyfrau is a project of Pochlopien Atelier — where art occasionally gives way to practical work.
